Marilyn Monroe (born June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California, as Norma Jeane Mortenson, ecclesiastically registered baptism name Norma Jeane Baker, † August 5, 1962 in Brentwood, Los Angeles) was an American film actress and singer, model and film producer. She became a world star in the 1950s, is a film icon and is considered an archetypal sex symbol of the 20th century. The artist has skillfully placed the portrait of Marilyn on the expressive background. As usual, the background is designed with several layers, first dark, then lighter and lighter, up to the wonderful pastel tones that go perfectly with the portrait. Here, too, the artist has added a few splashes of neon paint that protrude from the black surface. A wonderful overall composition that fits into any ambience.
